Our Mission
Our mission is to aid in the establishment of justice and peace through the sharing of culture. We nurture cultural exchange, teach culture and art, and create relationships built on mutual respect.
2025 Spring Programs
The ‘Fight or Flight’ Peer Leadership program combines STEM education with African and Black Arts & Humanities. The curriculum blends physics, Afro-Futurism, Black History and traditional Martial sciences - including Kupigana Ngumi, and nutrition. The 5 hour day is split into two blocks of Drone education including ~30 hours of flight time; and the African martial science disciplines.
Our Impact
Founded in 1990, the Moyo Nguvu Cultural Arts Center, was the first Pan-African cultural and healing arts center in the state of Colorado that promoted diversity and inclusiveness. It is the leader in the provision of quality African-centered cultural arts programs and workshops to low and moderate income communities in Colorado. Our participants reflect the many diverse ethnic, religious, cultural and economic backgrounds in the state.
